St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery is located at Concession A, Lot 5, Eastern Section, Wellesley Township, on the Wellesley - Waterloo line, and particularly near Erbsville at all.. St. Paul's Lutheran Church was originally log, replaced in 1877 by a new church on a new site. This current church is yellow brick with a white frame steeple, and an addition was built at the rear in 1952. Electricity was added in 1939, replacing the hand pumped organ and lamps. Among the furnishings are a pew from the original church of 1852 (now a bench in the foyer) and a highly carved altar, once the showpiece at Globe Furniture in Waterloo, noted for its talented European trained carvers. German was used in services at this church until 1939. Mrs. Sophia Doering (1878-1960) served as organist at St. Paul's for 66 years.
